Lines Plans
Even in today's world of 5-axis numerically controlled milling of hull plugs, the traditional lines plan is still a required drawing. RhinoMarine makes quick work of generating the three traditional 2D views: Profile, Planview, and Bodyplan.
The 2D curves are automatically created from the surface(s) and sections that you have selected, and are put on two new layers: "linesplan_visible" and "linesplan_hidden". Any curves that are hidden when projected into 2D are put on the "linesplan_hidden layer and drawn in white.
