RhinoMarine is the combination of Rhino and a specialized marine plug-in. It may be purchased as a bundle including Rhino, or the plug-in may be purchased separately if you already own a copy of Rhino.
If you do not currently own Rhino, please start by downloading the latest Rhino, then return here to continue.
Once Rhino is installed, you may download and install the RhinoMarine plug-in. Before installing RhinoMarine, please be sure that:
Rhino3d is installed on the computer you have selected, and is closed (note that your version of Rhino (3 or 4) must match the version of RhinoMarine (3 or 4).
You have Administrator rights on this computer.
You have uninstalled any previous versions of PHASER or RhinoMarine, and restarted your computer.
The RhinoMarine user has full control privileges for the directory where RhinoMarine will be installed. On most Windows XP systems, Power Users have this access but regular users or restricted users do not. You should modify the security attributes of the RhinoMarine folder to have "Full Control" for the Users group.
You really want to install RhinoMarine and run it for a trial period on this computer: RhinoMarine can be installed for the 15 day free trial period on a given computer only ONCE. Of course, RhinoMarine can be licensed at any time after expiration of the trial period.
Your operating system is Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional. RhinoMarine has been checked to run properly under Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional. It may also run under other versions of Windows, but these are not supported.
On the selected computer, you have already installed the following programs:
MS Internet Explorer v6.x or more recent (required)
MS Excel 2000 or more recent (required only if you wish to have Excel output)
RhinoMarine is secured to your computer using a utility called "Crypkey". The license for RhinoMarine is specific to the computer and directory it is installed in. If you move the program, even to another directory, you also need to transfer the license. See Transferring Licenses in the RhinoMarine Help guide for information.
Licensing RhinoMarine on your computer is a straightforward, one-time process:
Important Note: The Site Key is unique to your computer, and is a one-time-use-only key. You do not need to keep a record of it, as you will not be able to use it on this or another computer again. If you would like to move your license of RhinoMarine to another computer, or you need to reformat your hard disk or install a new hard disk, please read the Transferring Licenses section in the RhinoMarine Help guide for important information.

The following is a list of commands available in the License dialog box.
Note on
Network Installations:
RhinoMarine may be licensed to a particular computer, or may have a floating
network license. For example, if you have four Rhino users in your network,
but do not expect more than two to be using RhinoMarine at the same time,
you may purchase a 2-user network license. Any two of the four Rhino users
could then use RhinoMarine simultaneously. The installation of the
Network License consists of two steps; installing and licensing RhinoMarine
with the Network License on the License Server computer (a
computer that is always accessible to those that will be using RhinoMarine,
but not necessarily the "server" in your network), and installing and
licensing RhinoMarine on each of the other computers in the network that
will be using RhinoMarine (client computers). For the installation on the
server, follow the instructions for Standalone
Installations, then click here for information on licensing each of the
client computers.
Once you have placed your order and received your Site Key, you are ready to activate/register your copy of RhinoMarine:
If for some reason you expected to have an unlimited license (green), but did not, check that you entered the Site Key properly. Also, confirm that you supplied the correct Site Code on your order form. The Site Key can only be used on the computer that originally was used to generate the Site Code that you supplied on your order form, and is only good to register your license once. If you need to move the license to another computer, or you need to replace or reformat your hard disk, please see the Transferring Licenses section in the RhinoMarine Help guide.

Note: If you get the following error, it is either because you uninstalled a previous version of RhinoMarine and then did not restart your computer before installing this version, or because you do not have "Full Control" permissions on the RhinoMarine installation directory. Please contact your system administrator, and have the security attributes of the RhinoMarine installation directory modified to allow you (and other users) to have "Full Control" (this can be set for all users by allowing Full Control for the Users group).

If RhinoMarine has not been licensed after 15 days, it will stop working, and the message shown here below will be displayed.

If you have already sent us your Site CODE, you will be able to complete the licensing procedure when you receive the Site KEY. In the meantime, Rhino will continue to run normally, but you will not be able to run the RhinoMarine commands.
If you do not wish to purchase RhinoMarine, uninstall it from Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Remember: after the 15 day trial demo period has expired, RhinoMarine will not run unlicensed again, but of course it can be licensed at any time.
